Bacon Beard Balm
Bacon Beard Balm
We all know that bacon is fuckin’ awesome. It’s smokey, greasy, and pigs absolutely LOVE that we enjoy it (a pig e-mailed Stovepipe and confirmed this). But along with the delicious taste, bacon is INCREDIBLE for your skin & hair!! Here’s why:
Bacon grease comprises many nutrients that promote healthy hair, like vitamin B, protein, and zinc. It’s also good for skin! It;s rick in Omega 3 fatty acids, Vitamic E, A, and D.
But a we don’t stop there. LARD is one of the very best ingredients for your skin. Provide by Michigan small farm Willowsong, lard is very similar to the cellular makeup and pH of our skin. It’s also very easy on your skin. So it moisturizes your beard AND your skin. Plus the smell mix of coffee, bacon, and maple is fantastic.
The bard balm also includes:
Olive Oil: Contains moisturizing ingredients such as squalene and oleic acis. This can help prevent split ends and increase hair elasticity. For skin, oloive oil is deeply hydrating, has a gentle exfoliation, and may even reduce inflamation.
Coconut Oil: Great for your hair and beard’s overall health. It can also help to heal damaged hair by hydrating it, softening it, strengthening it. Coconut oil is mostly made up of a medium chain fatty acid called lauric acid. It gives the oil a nice long, straight structure, which more easily is absorved by your beard hair.
Shea Butter: Along with giving balm a more firm texture and thus helping to shape your beard, shea butter locks moisture into your beard, can sooth irritated skin, and provide extra nourishment.
Beeswax: Along with it’s shaping qualities, beeswax forms a protective barrier on the skin’s surface, thus protecting skiin from encironmental irritants and harsh weather. It also doesn’t block your pores, letting your skin breathe freely.
Heads up! This Bacon Beard Balm uses fragrance oils. Do NOT use if you are allergic to or irritated by fragrance oil. If you feel any irritation whatsoever, stop immediate use of it. Email us for a refund.
